As principal of Columbia Elementary, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our family, home of the lions!

We are a transitional kindergarten through fourth grade school that focuses on building strong relationships with everyone on our campus and holding high expectations for all of our learners, no limits and no excuses.

I have been with the Columbia District since 2007 teaching 3rd through 6th grade, plus a 5th-8th grade community day class.  Throughout my teaching career, I have experience working with Kindergarten through twelfth grade students, so I have a good understanding of developmental stages when it comes to academics and social behavior.  I am also a mother of three, two girls and one boy, which helps me practice my restorative justice techniques on a daily basis.  In 2015, I was hired as the Vice Principal and Athletic Director for Mt. View Middle School and Columbia Elementary for one year. I was then promoted to Principal at Columbia Elementary in 2016.  I absolutely love my job because I have the best staff, student body, and parents in Shasta County.

Please do not hesitate to call me if you are interested in learning more about our school, activities, and/or programs.
